Almost all of the time when light changes mediums, it changes direction; however, if it strikes the interface with an angle of incidence of 0 degrees, then no bending will occur (0˚)

My father and I embarked on a journey to White Sands, New Mexico this past winter and sought to re-create lost photographic memories since our last visit there twenty years ago. The resulting collaborative work, "Angles of Incidence," seeks to explore my relationship with my father by fusing together reverberations of memory with the internalization of loss.
